Biden the President-elect? Not so Fast!—Comments on News and Prophecy (November 7, 2020)

In the morning of November 7, just prior to a press conference by President Trump’s attorneys, the mass media and most networks declared Joe Biden to be the President-elect. However, Newsmax refuses to call Biden the winner. Why is that? Newsmax explains that the votes are still being counted, recounts are certain, and accusations of fraud and irregularities in several states are going to be brought before the courts. In addition, President Trump is not conceding and has no intention of doing so anytime soon. What are some of the specific allegations which the courts will be asked to decide?

Growth in the Church – Feast Sermon 2016

If we want to grow, we must be faithful in the small things; we must  help the little ones; and we must not despise the day of small beginnings. We must control our thoughts and avoid wrong ideas and hypocrisy. When God begins something, He does so in a small way, so that it can grow and become bigger. Even His kingdom and rule must and will grow. God’s Church is small today—a little flock—but its growth is predestined, if it fulfills its godly mission. Individual Christians must have a part in this growth.

Feast of Trumpets 2014—Christ’s Return

The Feast of Trumpets symbolizes the return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the righteous to eternal life. The book of Revelation contains seven messages to seven congregations of the Church of God. What relationship exists between the last four of those seven messages and Christ’s return? What does the Bible say about the time of Christ’s return? Is that time already fixed? Why does Christ say that even He does not know the exact time?  Is the time of His coming conditioned upon certain events which have to take place first? What does it mean that the time of Christ’s return is solely within the authority of the Father?
