What Does the Bible Say About Smoking?
Why do people smoke? Do they do it because they love God, their neighbor or themselves? Or do people smoke to satisfy their selfish passions and desires? Is smoking sin? Is a Christian free to smoke? Goal of Perfection
To achieve perfection, we must be prepared at all times by doing what God specifically tells us to do. To help us better strive for that perfection, we must have hope, faith, and love towards each other and God’s law. Having the right attitude and the right goal will ultimately bring us closer to perfection.
The Ten Commandments and the Model Prayer
Is there any relationship between the Ten Commandments and the Model Prayer in Matthew 6? Some parallels are obvious, such as, “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain” and “Hallowed be thy name,” but in other cases, the connection may be less clear at first sight. Satan Is Alive
Many don’t believe in Satan or the Devil, but the Bible describes him as a very real spirit being who wants to destroy us. Satan is a very cunning and cruel enemy, who deceives mankind and transforms himself into an angel of light. He is the mighty ruler and god of this world of darkness, an accuser, liar and murderer, the tempter and the father of the children of disobedience. How can we overcome and conquer him?
