In his nationally televised speech to a joint session of Congress on September 9, 2009, President Obama endorsed mandatory coverage for individuals, while during his presidential campaign, he REJECTED this concept. In addition, he now advocated fining those uninsured Americans who “could afford” acceptable health insurance. But when he stated that his reforms would not insure illegal immigrants, he was called a liar by Rep. Joe Wilson. WOULD the reform benefit millions of undocumented workers? And what about the idea to FINE those individuals who opt not to purchase health insurance coverage?

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs reiterated this week that proof for President Obama’s birthplace in Hawaii “had been posted online,” but some contend that the posted abbreviated “Certification of Live Birth” does not provide such proof, as “a child does not even have to be born in Hawaii to receive such a COLB.” In light of persistent rumors and affidavits alleging that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya, they demand the release of his “long-form, hospital generated birth certificate” to fulfill the requirements of the US Constitution and the Immigration Law in effect in 1961, that only a natural-born American citizen can serve as American President.

The Catholic Church announced that the bones of the Apostle Paul were found in Rome. Der Stern wrote that there is NO EVIDENCE that these were the bones of the Apostle Paul. Die Welt added that there can be no certainty that the bones are those of the Apostle Paul, and that experts DOUBT the accuracy of the Pope’s claim. Zenit admitted that over the centuries the original tomb of Paul “disappeared from view and eventually could no longer be identified.” Why is this? Could it be that the remains of Paul are not to be found in Rome?
