Faith in God’s Protection
God has promised us His protection, and many biblical examples demonstrate God’s mighty intervention. But does God still perform miracles today? Does He still intervene in our lives in unexpected and unfathomable ways? Do we truly believe in His miraculous power—just as David and Daniel did, for instance? The Third Commandment
The third commandment is usually assumed to forbid using God’s name in a frivolous or vain manner. This is true, however, since we are a part of God’s family, we need to be careful that we do not profane God’s holy name by our actions. We are to be an example to others by our obedience to God and fully respect His name that we bear.

How Did You Do?
The Feast of Unleavened Bread gives us the opportunity to examine ourselves to discover the sin that might hide in the corners of our lives. When we find those sins we remove them, just as we remove any leavening that we discover by surprise during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This process of removing sin from our lives is a prerequisite for us as we give our offerings to God.
How to Enrich Your Life by being a Better Servant
Jesus Christ offers us the perfect example of what service means. Do we really understand His example of how to serve and are we willing to live by it? By doing so, we will find our lives fulfilled, abounding with love and peace. While the rest of the world stigmatizes the idea of being a servant, we have a better understanding, knowing that Christian service enriches our lives with meaning.
Finding Joy
Despite the headlines and the need for true Christians to stand watch amidst the turmoil, we can and should find joy in the simple elements of our lives. Time may be short, but only the Father knows His plan for the Day of the Lord. It must always be at hand for us and our spiritual preparation must be robust. At the same time, God expects that we appreciate His blessings and the simple things that we see in this world that He created. Why Give an Offering?
We are to give an offering on God’s seven annual Holy Days. But do we do so just because God commands it? Or are we motivated by an attitude which is pleasing to God? What is that attitude? As we are to become God, what is God’s attitude when it comes to giving and taking?
Are We Guilty of Transgression?
What does the Bible understand by transgression? Is it merely a relatively harmless matter, as is the case in human law? No, God sees it quite differently, and we must recognize, confess, and repent of our transgressions in order to receive His forgiveness and mercy.
