While Israel celebrated the 70th anniversary of its existence as a state and the opening of the American embassy in Jerusalem, violence broke out in the Gaza strip, and the reaction of many world powers, including Turkey and Europe, was predictable. However, most media outlets ignored or chose not to quote remarkable statements by Benjamin Netanyahu during the celebration.
