As members of the spiritual Body of Christ we must be clean and holy, and we may think many times that we are, but may deceive ourselves. We must recognize our uncleanness and eradicate it with God’s help.

We are warned that many will experience that their Love will grow cold; that they may lose their first Love; and that they might even lose God’s Holy Spirit and with it God’s Love. How can we prevent this from happening to us? What connection is there between God’s Love and God’s Law? Is it true that the Greek words for love–the noun “agape” and the verb “agapao”–can refer to something else than Godly Love, as some claim?
How Does Trump’s Executive Order Help Innocent Children?
After a worldwide outcry over the “zero tolerance” policy of the Trump administration, criminalizing all illegal immigrants and leading to the separation of young children from their parents and the internment of the children in detention camps, President Trump signed an executive order, claiming that it will keep migrant families together. But does the executive order help the children, or does it make matters worse? Is the European condemnation hypocritical as they are engaging in similar conduct? Why are our immigration systems so broken and what does the Bible have to say about all of this? Is Attorney General Jeff Sessions right when he stated that Romans 13 commands us to obey the laws of the government? Must we obey all laws, even though they might violate the letter or the spirit of God’s Word?

Spiritual Growth in God’s Church
When we want to grow spiritually, we must be faithful in what is least; we must help the least; and we must not despise the day of small things. We must control our thoughts, and we must avoid false ideas and hypocrisy. What God begins, He begins in a small way, so that it can grow and become bigger. Even His Kingdom and His Government must and will grow. God’s Church is small today, a little flock, but it is predestined to grow, if it fulfills its godly commission. Individual Christians must also be partakers of this growth.
Why the Days of Unleavened Bread?
Through Christ’s death, we can obtain forgiveness of our past sins. But this does not give us the guarantee nor the strength, not to sin again. Still, we are commanded to overcome and to conquer sin on a continuous basis. How is this possible? What is the meaning of the Days of Unleavened Bread for us today?
