The Greatest Sacrifice 

God expects an offering on holy days, not because He needs our money—for everything already belongs to Him—but because it reveals our attitude and the condition of our hearts.
The crucial question, therefore, is not, “How much must I give?” but rather, “With what attitude do I give?” For God does not want us to give out of a sense of duty; rather, He desires us to be joyful givers.
