Will the USA Take the Panama Canal Back?

How serious are President Trump’s statements regarding the Panama Canal, that the USA will “take it back”? Apart from human ideas, what does the Bible say about it? Is it even possible that, according to Scripture, the Panama Canal—an important and vital sea gate–will end up again in American hands?
